Elaine J. Ferguson-Lightfoot
Elaine J. Ferguson-Lightfoot is the dreamer, believer, and visionary behind Tim’s On The Bay. With over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness industry, Elaine has always had a passion for service and a deep love for people.
​
Born on January 14, 1962, on the beautiful island of New Providence, she is the second eldest of six children born to the late Timothy Ferguson and Shirley Hanna-Davis. She was married to the late Mr. Norman Lightfoot- her partner in life and in purpose. Together, they raised three daughters: Norlaine, Normica, and Niyah. Elaine is also a proud grandmother to Da’Khari and Ariyah.

Elaine is known for her warmth, drive, and ability to connect with everyone she meets. A true people person and natural tourism ambassador, she finds joy in traveling, meeting new faces, and sharing the beauty of Exuma with the world.
​
As Founder and CEO, Elaine is responsible for leading the vision and direction of Tim’s On The Bay. She is the heart of the business and the face of the brand—making the key decisions that shape the restaurant’s growth and culture, while ensuring that each guest feels like family.

He didn’t just build a restaurant he built a legacy, one brick, one brushstroke, one dream at a time.
Norman Lightfoot (1956–2024)
Norman Lightfoot was a visionary in his own right. A former Gaming Inspector at the Bahamas Gaming Board, where he served for 21 years, Norman was known as a “Gentle Giant” by nature but mighty in every way.
When his wife, Elaine, shared her dream of opening a restaurant, Norman made it his mission too. Without hesitation, her dream became their dream, and he worked tirelessly to help bring it to life.
​
In 2022, Norman oversaw it all from clearing and excavation to framing, design changes, partitioning, and finally, the ribbon cutting. He was on-site every single day, from sunrise to sunset. One day he was the contractor, the next the architect, the painter, the mason, or the plumber whatever the job required, Norman was there, hands-on and committed.
​
He stood proudly alongside Elaine and their daughters on August 5, 2023, as they cut the ribbon and officially opened the doors to Tim’s On The Bay, located on Queen’s Highway in Moss Town, Exuma.
​
Though our beloved CEO passed away less than a year after our grand opening, his spirit and dedication remain the foundation of everything we do. He poured his heart into building TOTB, and we vow to carry on his legacy; to not just keep the dream alive, but to grow it into an empire.

N. Ciji Lightfoot
N. Ciji Lightfoot, the firstborn of founders Norman and Elaine Lightfoot, brings over 15 years of experience in the wholesale food distribution industry to her role as Chief Financial Officer at Tim’s On The Bay
.
She currently serves as Vice President at Jamaica Bahama Imports, where she wears many hats and leads with confidence and precision. As the eldest sibling, Ciji has always had a natural ability to take charge skills that have translated seamlessly into her leadership career.
​
Ciji is the true definition of a quiet storm, calm in demeanor, but strong, focused, and fiercely effective. Her past roles have helped shape her into the CFO she is today: driven, strategic, and deeply trusted.
​
At Tim’s On The Bay, Ciji oversees all financial aspects of the business. From tracking cash flow to developing financial strategies, she remains focused on both the present and the future. She evaluates the company’s strengths and weaknesses, crafts action plans for growth, and works closely with the executive team to guide initiatives in areas such as technology, sustainability, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

She is known for her integrity, responsibility, and unwavering trustworthiness. Most importantly, she is a proud mom to her one son.

Normica is a total foodie when she’s not managing operations, she’s either trying new food and drink recipes or discovering hidden food gems.

Normica S. Lightfoot
Normica S. Lightfoot, the second child of founders Norman and Elaine Lightfoot, brings over 12 years of experience in the utilities industry to her role as Chief Operations Officer at Tim’s On The Bay.
​
She began her career in the Human Resources Department, working in recruitment before moving into Fleet Services, where she led licensing initiatives, monitored fuel efficiency, and ensured the Corporation’s fleet vehicles received proactive care and maintenance. She also managed departmental finances with diligence and accuracy.
​
At Tim’s On The Bay, Normica is the driving force behind operational excellence. As COO, she oversees the day-to-day administrative and operational functions of the restaurant, leading efforts in organizational design, employee training and development, recruitment, and labor relations. She plays a pivotal role in hospitality, food and beverage management, and staff development.
​
Normica is a focused, hardworking, and forward-thinking leader. Known for her results-driven mindset, she balances structure with creativity and keeps the team moving toward a shared vision. She is a revolving door of innovation, always bringing fresh ideas and progressive approaches to improve the guest experience.
​
Her leadership style is rooted in transparency and approachability. Normica believes strongly in maintaining an open-door policy not just for her team, but for customers too. She listens, adapts, and leads with empathy and intention, creating an environment where everyone feels valued and heard.
Normica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Management from Missouri Baptist University and is a proud mom to her daughter.

Niyah Lightfoot, the youngest daughter of founders Norman and Elaine Lightfoot, is the vibrant energy and visionary voice behind Tim’s On The Bay’s brand and daily operations. Armed with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, she blends business savvy with bold creativity.

As both Chief Marketing Officer and General Manager, Niyah plays a dual role that is dynamic and all-encompassing. From curating campaigns and developing content to overseeing daily restaurant operations, she is involved in every detail. Her natural ability to juggle multiple roles with grace makes her the go-to glue of the team.
​
Niyah is known for her fresh ideas, forward thinking, and strong leadership. She’s a passionate storyteller who believes that every dish, detail, and guest interaction contributes to the larger narrative of Tim’s On The Bay. Whether planning a themed event, designing a social media rollout, or stepping in to support the team on the floor—she does it all with purpose and style.

Among her standout successes are Baddies on the Bay—the ultimate brunch experience that had the island talking—and Exuma Regatta’s exclusive day parties, which quickly became the place to be during Regatta weekend. These weren’t just parties—they were iconic moments that perfectly blended culture, community, and unmatched vibes. Under Niyah’s leadership, these events helped set Tim’s On The Bay apart as both a dining destination and social hub.
​
Her leadership approach is people-first. Niyah is deeply committed to cultivating a culture that is inclusive, uplifting, and inspiring. She believes that the guest experience is a reflection of the team experience—and so, she pours into both. She’s young, driven, fiercely creative, and always thinking a step ahead.

Da’Khari and Ariyah are the youngest members of the Tim’s On The Bay family—and the heart and joy behind the scenes. Whether it’s brightening a room with their laughter, charming guests with their cuteness, or “taste-testing” fries and desserts, these two bring energy, fun, and love to the restaurant.
